Let’s talk singleness during the Holidays. I know many of us hear “are you seeing anyone yet?” at the family dinner because year after year you show up alone. Some of us are blessed to have families that are not asking to put pressure, but I know others will feel inadequate and pressure to be with someone. A time when you see the cute family photos, hallmark telling you that you should be falling in love and the siblings married off with their own happy traditions is can be hard to not allow loneliness to have an extra punch during this season. I keep hearing God say “Praise Me”. The BEST cure to fighting loneliness is gratitude! When I reroute my heart to think on the goodness of God and what he has already given me and given in abundance it’s hard to stay lonely, jealousy and anxious. Take a break, if you know hopping on social media is going to jack up your heart space. Take time away! Sometimes you need to know your boundaries as much as I love love I have times I know my heart isn’t in the right space to see it and have joy for my friend. Don’t wait to start your own memories! I may not have a husband yet but Addie and I do a Christmas card together every year anyways! I didn’t wait for my husband to celebrate putting up my first Christmas tree. I used it to still spend time with those I love. Don’t let this season allow you to wallow. God timing is perfect and He has a reason for all He does. So use this time to pursue and run towards Him. Love God and love others! And know you are not alone. 💕

I grabbed this little beaut with the World Market cracker promo! 🙌🏻 I ended up drifting towards little buildings and houses on my tree. Not sure where that came from but I’m here for it!! Also I have some Christmas Hacks! In case you missed it on my stories yesterday saved to my highlights! It’s pretty much a free way to make your house smell good and to DIY with! 👌🏻

A time filled with HOPE. “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” -Romans‬ ‭15:13‬ I wanted to make sure amidst the fun of decor I kept the reminder of why I love this season so much! That love came down and brought hope. I have found myself way to easily getting caught up in the festivities rather than the reason. So a little reminder on my kitchen shelf ❤️

Yup I do have twigs from my backyard as a Christmas decor! #noshame 😂 But I have my little teeny tiny table set up! 🙌🏻 just pregaming for hosting Christmas dinner!

My every month favorite though! I do think Addie is auditioning for a hair company! 😂👉🏻 if you want to see!

Thrifted vase + spray paint + thrifted Christmas picks= the best kind of decor! It’s been a chaotic day but I had the opportunity to take gifts to High School students in need today and I watched gratitude spread across a students face as he got a brand new pair of shoes. When I looked down I noticed his had holes and tape keeping them together 😢 my heart broke in that moment, but also filled with joy to see how far kindness can go! It was a heartwarming reminder to be grateful as well! #spreadkindness
